One of the best features of our Maddy-May slime is that it will last a LONG time. There are a few simple maintenance steps to caring for your slime. On top of that, there are a few steps to restoring your slime if it starts to dry out.
Maintaining Your Maddy-May Slime
1. On maintaining your slime, we first recommend that you have your child wash their hands before and after playing with their slime. Washing their hands before hand keeps the slime from getting nasty. Washing their hands after keeps their hands clean. Our slime is safe an non-toxic, but little fingers will often put those fingers in their mouth and nose, and this will prevent some of the add-ins from finding their way into your little ones.
2. We recommend that you ALWAYS store your slime in an air-tight container, like the storage cups we provide. This way it will keep your slime the perfect texture for every play time.
If for some reason your slime starts to get dry or sticky, we have just the remedy for getting your slime back to that “fresh brewed” state in which you bought it.
What if your Slime gets sticky
If your slime starts to get sticky, mix a little bit of foam into it. Our number one recommendation is shaving foam, just make sure NOT to use shaving gel. This will bring your slime back to the smooth, fun substance you know. Knead the slime to work it through until you see no more foam.
What if your Slime dries out
If your slime starts to dry out, mix a small amount of water into it. You won’t need more than a spoonful. Knead the slime until it softens. This will restore your slime to that fresh brewed state. Remember, water can make or break your slime.
